Pastor Dallas Slemp
I was brought up in a Christian home; my dad was the pastor of this very church for nearly 45 years. I was saved at the age of 12, finally yielded to the call to preach in February 2003. I have been involved in evangelistic work and assisting other churches to fill their pulpit, as needed.
Vivian and I have been married since November 1978; we have three children, Barbie, Andrew and Kori, three amazing grandchildren, Howie, Alex and Olivia. Barbie’s husband Mark McDavid is also a minister and they reside in Florida.
I am thankful for the opportunity to serve the congregation here at Colchester Free Will Baptist Church and the surrounding communities. I thank the Lord for his Grace and Salvation.
One of my favorite verses is 1 Corinthians 1:18 (KJV) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
